TGIF! (18)

TGIF is brought to us by Ginger at GReads!

It's a way for bloggers to celebrate the end of the week with a nice re-cap of their weekly posts and to answer a random question.

Book Disappointments: Have you ever come across a book you were so stoked to read, but it failed miserably in your eyes?

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks.
Talk about a disappointment. I shouldn't have watched the movie first.

  2. I've never read (or watched) A Walk to Remember, mostly because I had a kinda-stalker who liked the movie. Bad memories.

  3. I didn't read the book "A Walk to Remember" but I really liked the movie. Maybe I should read the book now :)

  4. I agree with you on A Walk to Remember. That was definitely one instance where I liked the movie better than the book. New follower :0)

  5. LOL I love that movie but haven't read the book because, honestly...although I love the movies based from his book, I don't think I'd enjoy the books for some reason.

  6. I totally agree with you on this one! The movie was much much better than the book. And I didn't like the book one bit from what I remember. I also didn't care as much for The Notebook in book form either - the film was much better for me.

  8. Hi, new follower here for the hop. I read A Walk to Remember before I saw the movie and I cried like a baby in both!
