Deadly Little Voices by Laurie Faria Stolarz.

I'm a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of the Touch series and anything written by Stolarz, so I was ecstatic when I went to B&N and found this on the shelf.

Side note: Happy New Year! Hope your 2012 book hauls are even better than the ones in 2011!

Love Story by Jennifer Echols.
The Piper's Son by Melina Marchetta.
Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta.

I'm currently in the middle of Love Story and enjoying it, per Cialina's reccomendation! I plan to tackle The Piper's Son next.  I've heard so many good things about it and I'm excited to read another Marchetta book.

Hope everyone's Christmas is going well and you're enjoying your book hauls!

The Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor.
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.

LOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Ahem. Sorry. I made it my mission to get Lola while on my Fall Break, and I succeeded. I cannot wait to read it. How long have I been waiting now? Oh, right. Forever.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is another story. I just kind of stumbled upon it on my quest to get Lola, and I remembered all of the good things you've all said of it, so I decided to take it with me to scope out while I enjoyed my Pumpkin Spice latte.  And I discovered it is just as good as everyone has said. I'm actually reading it before Lola. I never thought that would happen.

Hope you all were just as excited with your hauls!

The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder.
Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson.

I can't express my love enough for all of Lisa Schroeder's books, so I'm beyond excited to start The Day Before; I've read really good reviews for it too, so that's always good to know!

As for Amy & Roger, I've had it on my TBR list for a while now, but since so many people have been recommending it, I decided to bump it up.

A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah.
The Duff by Kody Keplinger.

I won A Long Way Gone, and decided to give in to The Duff to see if it can get me out of my reading slump. Here's to hoping!

Harry Potter Should Have Died by Emerson Spartz (of Mugglenet.com).

Won this one, and while I won't be reading it just yet, I'm excited to read what it has to say.

The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han.
It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han.
We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han.

I was thrilled to get this series this past week, but I just finished The Summer I Turned Pretty and wasn't blown away. Now I'm unsure whether I want to actually finish the rest of the series. Does anyone know if they get better?

*My review for The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Fury by Elizabeth Miles.
Dust and Decay by Jonathan Maberry.
Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst.
Clean by Amy Reed.
Finny by Justin Kramon.
Capt. Hook: The Adventures of a Notorious Youth by J.V. Hart.

Seems like a really strange haul this week, I know. But I won Finny a while ago, and Capt. Hook was recommended to me by a friend. I'm a total Peter Pan junkie. The remaining books are from the Simon and Schuster galley grab!

Very excited for these two. I've heard many good things.

I don't exactly need any more books, but I can't help myself! I can't pass something up when I know I'll get to it eventually.

Sisterhood Everlasting  by Ann Brashares.

Finally got it! Going to have to bump this up on my TBR list because I can't wait to read it. I'm anxious to see how life is now for the Traveling Pants girls.

Wolf Storm (signed ARC) by Dee Garretson.

Many, many thanks to Armchair BEA and Ms. Garretson for this! I was so happy when it finally arrived. Also got a free bookmark and personalized note, which was just absolutely amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta.
The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa.
Stay by Deb Caletti.

Okay, I cannot express how excited I am for these. I've heard Jellicoe Road is AMAZING (and I liked Saving Francesca, so I know I like the author). I've been waiting for The Iron Queen ever since I finished The Iron Daughter.  And Stay will be my first Deb Caletti novel; I hope it's a good choice.

Summer's Crossing by Julie Kagawa.

I heard this takes place after the Iron Queen, so unfortunately I'll have to hold off reading it until I can snag a copy of the other.

Playing Hurt by Holly Schindler.

Finally got my copy from the Playing Hurt blog tour and I'm already more than halfway through it and loving it! Never read anything by her before, but I'm probably going to have to go out and get her other book, A Blue So Dark.

68 Knots by Michael Robert Evans.

Definitely not a big haul, but that's all right. I have somewhere around three bags or so of books that I still need to read. If only work wasn't in the way.
