Hopping through. I like it when a guy is normal looking - or at least has a few flaws in his appearance. Like Etienne being short in Anna and the FK. My Hop
Oh yeah, instalove is the worst. Beautiful people kind of annoy me too in fiction. I find it completely unbelievable that these characters are completely flawless. I mean, even if it's spot-prone skin or frizzy hair or crooked teeth - they've got to have something! :P. Hope you have a great weekend :).
I'm getting extremely tired of the stereotypical tendencies that are being written into young adult fictions and the cliches, as well as all of the insta!love. None of it makes sense and it just doesn't resonate in reality.
You're the third blogger who wrote about instaloves... haha! I hate them too, but I forgot to write about them. haha

Love triangles seem to be the popular answer to today's question. A love-at-first-sight plot is so lame.

Biggest book pet peeve? when authors name characters in alphabetical order. Amy and Bob have three children - Catherine, David and Emma.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't tell you why it bothers me so much, it just does. Major turn off!
