Back to the beginning: What was the first book you reviewed on your blog?
Interesting book. Wasn't entirely pleased with it, but also didn't dislike it. I remember reviewing it specifically because of all the hype surrounding it at the time - not for the book itself, but because the movie had just been released. The movie is actually what prompted me to read it.

Coming up this week:
REVIEW for What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen!
What a great question. My first review was a picture book, Trudy by Henry Cole. I'm still really pleased with that review. It's horrible, when you look back at something from a couple of years ago and think, "ugh, that was my best effort? It's terrible!" and I'm so glad that I don't feel that way about my first review.
ReplyDeleteI thought about reading the book, but skipped out & saw the movie instead. It was just ok for me, but there was some VERY nice eye candy! haha TGIF & happy weekend :-)

great question! the first few posts on my blog were reprints of book reviews I'd published elsewhere. I think the first review that was exclusive to my site was China Mieville's The City and The City.
ReplyDeletefunny. I'm reading his Embassytown right now!
