TGIF! (4)

TGIF is brought to us by Ginger at GReads!

It's a way for bloggers to celebrate the end of the week with a nice re-cap of their weekly posts and to answer a random question.

Back to the beginning: What was the first book you reviewed on your blog?

Interesting book. Wasn't entirely pleased with it, but also didn't dislike it. I remember reviewing it specifically because of all the hype surrounding it at the time - not for the book itself, but because the movie had just been released. The movie is actually what prompted me to read it.

Coming up this week:

REVIEW for What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen!

  1. What a great question. My first review was a picture book, Trudy by Henry Cole. I'm still really pleased with that review. It's horrible, when you look back at something from a couple of years ago and think, "ugh, that was my best effort? It's terrible!" and I'm so glad that I don't feel that way about my first review.

  2. I thought about reading the book, but skipped out & saw the movie instead. It was just ok for me, but there was some VERY nice eye candy! haha TGIF & happy weekend :-)

  6. great question! the first few posts on my blog were reprints of book reviews I'd published elsewhere. I think the first review that was exclusive to my site was China Mieville's The City and The City.

funny. I'm reading his Embassytown right now!
